I took a chance on this set hoping for that lived-in feel, and the prewashed cotton is surprisingly soft right out of the package. It’s held up well through a few washes without pilling, and the subtle texture makes the bed feel cozy without being too hot at night.

The yarn-dyed cotton has such a rich, lived-in feel right out of the bag, and the subtle twill weave adds a nice texture. It’s been keeping me cool on warmer nights but still cozy when the temperature drops.
